Vivi: are you @ MIT? if so, i hope to see you next year as well. i was at isef this year (chemistry) but unfortunately came back without much to brag of...but it was an AWESOME experience

I will be at MIT; I'm a class of 2012 =) I was ISEF this year too, Behavioral & Social Sciences. I probably walked past your project; I was going around skimming through all of them. What was your research on? pulls out handy finalist directory

good chances. apply and see.

You are clearly one of the best math/science students in the nation. You could probably write your essays in crayon and still be accepted to MIT.

I agree but JJJJ. However, based upon your posts it seems you're a pussy. Try and work on that.

Junior year is the most important year because according to colleges that's when you 'grow up' or 'become an adult.' I think they would care less what you got in your freshmen and sophomore year. You did excellent in your junior year and have amazing EC's so I think you are a definite candidate. Remember though, it's all about luck and many kids get turned down with perfect SAT scores. Otherwise, I don't see why you wouldn't get in; even with a B+ in Spanish sophomore year.
