Here it is. I wrote about my depression. This is for my common app.

Your life does not get better by chance, it gets better by change. Once said by
author, motivational speaker and entrepreneur, Jim Rohn. During the last two years of my
high school career, I have devoted a significant amount of time to my studies an issue
that is importance in life at the moment. In my goal to excel academically I have faced
one main obstacle of my own which was my clinical depression, which I had experienced
during my freshman and sophomore years. I received treatment for my clinical
depression during junior year and I realized that I had messed up in my high school
career up to that point.
When I reached the turning point in my life, I had realized that without a good
educational background, I will not have a stable live. In this difficult challenge I realized
there were too many mistakes that I had made in the past were many too great. I wanted
to correct them by excelling academically during my mid Junior and whole Senior years.
I applied for the AP courses that were available for me at the time, respectively they are
AP Physics B and AP Economics. I also have to fix the mistakes I made during my
freshman and sophomore years by making up classes during this year.
This year I have met two teachers who are helping me make this turn around. The
first teacher is Mr. Klimetz, who is my AP Physics B teacher. The second teacher is Mr.
Chan, who is my AP Economics teacher. Mr. Klimetz has been helping me excel in my
AP Physics B class whenever he has free time and has inspired me to pursue a major in
Engineering once I get accepted into a college. Mr. Chan has been helping me with my
college application and pushing me to try hard in his AP Economics class. In addition,
Mr. Chan has constantly told his students about the heavy differences between the
academics of college and high school, as well as the different lifestyles.
I have also, associated myself with Key Club International, by becoming it's
Editor for the 2012-2013 school year. My current peers in Key Club have showed me that
volunteer service isn't just done for the service credit, it is done to assist those who truly
in need. Key Club International has taught me social and leadership skills which I can
apply once I get accepted into a college. Key Club has had a very significant impact on
my life.
To culminate, I have overcome my clinical depression and have made a huge
change as a student overall. I will maintain this ambitious attitude of excelling
educationally and producing volunteer service for the community throughout my college
studies. The mistakes that have occurred in high school will not occur again. I will make
sure my dream of becoming a successful Engineer during my college studies. I have
come out a better student because of my struggles in high school.
