I don’t like that you are stopping German at level 2. You don’t want to get into a situation where a college requirement is looking for more than level 2 to graduate.
A second vote to continue on with your foreign language.
I also don’t understand why you aren’t taking chemistry during the school year? You should be taking your lab sciences, bio, chem, and physics, at school during the school year. Take chem instead of APES.
I would also plan on AP euro over sociology. Many schools want 3 years of history.
Maybe language and comp vs mythology or world lit senior year.
Honestly though it depends on what kinds of schools you are considering for college and your major.
This is a key piece that is missing. And how do you only have 4 courses as a sophomore?
why would you take AP psych then regular psych?
@momofsenior1
I’m not taking chemistry because I did bad in it this year, so I’m going to take the pre req (Algebra 2) then take it over the summer after I take that.
I will most likely do AP Euro.
I want to major in computer science in college, and I’m going to complete the CS pathway at my school.
@skieurope
Because I switched to an online school in the middle of the last semester and they only let me take 4 courses at a time because I signed up late. I was thinking to just make up the credits over summer, since I can take 2 courses over summer at most through the online school.
@momtogirls2
Because my online school that I am temporarily doing did not let me take any AP courses due to my late sign up.
Wasn’t my choice, but I still took the AP exam.
And I don’t really want to take another foreign language, because I want to make room for things that I enjoy learning. I don’t do too well in foreign language.
What kind of colleges are you aiming for? Almost all selective schools want to see at least 3 years of foreign language on your HS transcript.
Keep in mind that CS is a very competitive STEM major. You need to have strong grades in your math and core science classes.
I’m also not clear about chemistry. So you already took it but are retaking it?
@momofsenior1
The colleges I’m looking at are not that competitive/selective. I’m pretty good at math and science, but I just did really bad in chemistry so decided to drop it and retake it once it I done the pre req for it.
