So there it is. I would really appreciate any imput about my chances. Thanks.

chances look good especially since your form out of state and from an economcial perspective, the school would be happy to milk you for all the ca$h that you have.

yeah but isn't it harder to get in from out of state?

its harder in the sense that it will cost waaay more than someone in-state.

isn't tuition free if you have a certain SAT score. i think i saw that for UCI and the SAT minimum for that was like 1400

tuition is free for everybody in the uc system!

but FEES arent :)

you've got pretty good stats. i'm not from california either, but they accepted me - why, i still don't understand, but i don't care. I think it is a bit harder to get in if you're out of state - i'm pretty sure they only allocate a certain percentage for non-californians like us. UCSD's a great school, if only slightly biased towards their in-staters. Good luck! yeah, i'm bitter towards the administration.

Wow, I just looked up their stats on CB. 97% of incoming freshman are in-staters.

if you're so into UCs, you can go to a cali community college and xfer easily.

yeah..lol. the out-of-staters' facebook group has almost 200 people in it
