<p>This is quite random but thinking of Exeter reminds me that DEtrombone hasn’t been on lately</p>

<p>When the Exeter grad interviewed my son off campus in the fall of '08 and when my boy and I visited the school last winter, we found all of the people associated with Exeter cold and distant, other than one coach and an old caretaker at the gym. Also, only one child at the school smiled at us during our visit. Every other student we saw at the school appeared grim, hurried and overburdened. Maybe we just visited Exeter on the wrong day, but I doubt it. PEA is a great school. It was just not a good match for us.</p>

<p>I loved my tour! My tour guide was nice, the kids smiled, and everyone seemed like they enjoyed the workload. It’s fine to disagree as your son and I happen to have a different outlook:)</p>
