Is it just me, or did everyone that had the “impolite” prompt have a difficult time with the math section, but did okay on CR/Writing? I’ve noticed that trend a lot around CC.

Math: 8 (I feel so dumb)
Writing: 5
CR: 3-4

Well I was hoping I’d be gunning for a 2400 on this round
But i misinterpreted the f(ab) problem and i forgot to change degrees into % on another.
So I’m thinking like 740 on math.

Reading I’m thinking -1 or -2, which is supposed to be 800.
Writing I’m hoping for -0 and a 10 essay

I wrote on Obama’s tax policies (fail!) in the November SAT & I got a 10, so I think I’m ok with the essay

Math: 8 - the problems themselves weren’t actually any harder than they usually are, some on the fill ins simply required more time than I’m used to expending. Still finished with time to spare though.
CR: 5 - other than the Indian passage, easy as hell.
Writing: 3 - probably the easiest writing I’ve ever done. Definitely expecting 800.
Essay: 2 - Very simple essay. Off the top of my head, I was able to think of Great Gatsby, Hamlet/Macbeth, Great Depression, Andrew Carnegie, John D. Rockerfeller, steroids in Baseball, current economic situation. (this was in a matter of 1-2 minutes when I was contemplating what to write about while I was writing my introduction, before my thesis of course).

Math: 5, nothing that wasn’t doable, but some questions were misleading and ambiguous. Hoping for an 800 to go along with Math II!
CR: 7, The passages weren’t too bad; Indian guy was confusing as well as Mark Twain quotes; vocab was super hard. There was vocab I didn’t know on very early questions.
Writing: 4, The 35 Q section was super easy, but I stumbled a little on section 10 with some of them. Hopefully still 800.
Essay: 9, Worst topic I’ve had to date with the impoliteness because it was impossible for me to think of a pertinent historical example. I ended up with only two examples and like a third of the page left. Hopefully the readers will be generous and give me a 10.
Overall I’m hopeful for at least 2300 as long as I didn’t dip under 700 for CR and I didn’t miss more than 1 in writing.

Math - 6 (function problem was brutal but I thought it was easy otherwise)
CR - 8 (passages were easy but sent. completion was really tough)
Writing - 7 (Essay was easy but I thought I had too many ‘no errors’)

Overall I thought it was easier than the oct. PSAT but this is my first time taking the real thing (haven’t done any practice tests)

Yeah this was my first SAT i’m just hoping i get over 2000 so i can work from there

Writing: 3
CR: 6/7
Math: 8/9

I thought i was a beast and that i finished 15 CR questions with ten minutes on the clock, but little did I know there were NINE MORE QUESTIONS ON THE NEXT PAGE. I had to go back and finish section 6, dammit

Does nobody understand how these ratings are supposed to work 5 is average, the CR may have been a little tough, but you all rated the test as though it was the hardest SAT ever. I wish these ratings were true because it would mean that -10 = 800 for every section and I would definitely get a 2400. Some sections were a little challenging, but don’t be ridiculous, the test was about average.

And come on the math was ridiculously easy, it was easier than any blue book math section I’ve ever seen I’m guessing that -1 = 760 for the math.

Math: 5 (fair I thought… had trouble with a couple, but not too bad)
CR: 8 (that damn Indian writing passage ughhhhhhh)
Writing: 3 (easier than I thought, but I still suck at Writing)

Math: 6/7 (it wasn’t really hard, but a lot of problems make you second guess. however when I retried the ones i remembered at home, my answers proved right, but definitely harder than those practice tests. it’s just i had the one test with the most conceptual things, such as a rectangular prism with multiple diagonals or other multidimensional monstrosities. I wasn’t really scared of these, but they could take up precious time or intimidate.)
Writing: 5 (I found this section quite easy, but there were a few questions which had some elite vocabulary. I found that in problems like these, 2 of the words were tough vocab, the rest of the choices were simple words that were completely wrong. SO I was stuck between two hard vocab words, I tried the root-method and then chose. I guess it’s whatever you make of it, but it was definitely harder than most practice test sections.)
CR:6/7 (The stories for this test were pretty good. I loved reading them and it was straight forward. However a few CR questions were downright perplexing. I remember there was this one question in which about 3 choices all reflected the author’s view and you had to choice “which best fits the author’s view”. I hated that because all choices could be backed by passage evidence, but could also be seen as inferences. )

Essay: 1 (I’m not being cocky at all when I say this about the essay. The nature of the question allowed pretty much anyone to come up with solid support and exemplification. I went so far as to use strategies from some prep books that I read which included using bold syntax, semi-colons, parentheses, hyphens, and I had varied vocab. I filled up all of the space, so I know that the graders will give me at least a decent 8 or 9.)

math was so simple i thought nothing hard at all. CR was a bit sketchy at times. Writing was like the usual I thought. Essay was hard to come up with examples but you can come up with some good analysis though.

Math-6, problems were a bit trickier, but still easy
CR-8, DEFINITELY harder than the BB, harder vocab/a few difficult story questions
Writing-3
Essay-1
