<p>Hi everyone, I'm a good but not great student; I'm thinking of majoring in Computer Science when I go to college. Please tell me anything that you know about the CS departments of the following universities:</p>

CUNY (which one is the best and how good is that one)

My first choice is really CMU but I heard it's really hard to get into so I doubt I'll get in :(</p>

<p>Live in NY, right now I'm a Junior at a competitive public high school. GPA is about 3.3 unweighted, should go up to about a 3.5 by the end of the year though.</p>

<p>I would mention RPI, U Rochester, Syracuse, SUNY Buffalo, SUNY Binghamton.</p>
