Hi! So I'm thinking of rushing and I'm curious to hear what people think about some of the sororities. Thanks so much! I hope you don't mind if I ask you a few questions. Thanks again!

Please include your gender and whether you are in a frat or sorority.

Rate sororities based on looks?

Rate sororities based on personality and genuine niceness? (not trashy...)

@BearFacts I would appreciate if you could refrain from critiquing my choice to join one. I am well aware of cliches just as I am aware that most do not seem to be true. Thank you.

“Even most of the soroties are not hot. I’d say two are hot, another two are cute, another five are ehh, and the rest are ugly. This is out of 11 sororities. The girls in the hottest sorority are basically the queens of berkeley. Everyone here is smart, so they are smart too.”

No saying I agree with this guy, but I love his entire review and writing style - full of lols.

Also, I don’t know that much on the subject, but I do have a friend in a sorority she’s really nice, pretty, and also really smart. I’ve also seen others who are two of the prior, or just one, or sadly none. I guess it just depends. I suppose that the only thing joining a sorority means is that you are a more sociable person; other characteristics obviously vary as they do with random people.

Also, lols (with) BearFacts.

I am a male btw.

Edit: Thats from Student Reviews, is there some kind of ban against posting links to there?

I went to two different frat parties with a group of friends two days ago for the very first time. So both frats had people drinking, but the second one had intense drinking games and there seemed to be more people that were “drunk” (to the point where it seemed unhealthy or irresponsible) in the second frat party than in the first one. In fact an ambulance came over there about a half-hour later. So it really depends on the frat. Btw I didn’t see people randomly banging each other so I think that’s somewhat of an exaggeration.

Now I don’t drink but I feel that drinking is fine as long as you as responsible about it. Also make sure you are always with actual friends, aka people who watch out for you and make sure you aren’t going overboard with anything “fun” that you’re doing that could have irreversible negative consequences.

And also I knew a girl in a sorority who really felt at home and comfortable with her sorority, and she is doing decently well academically from the last time I saw her and she was in a really academically demanding major. So for some people sororities seem like a nice fit. I think her sorority was Delta Gamma.
