Rate the UCs campus from best to worst

I just wanna know which UCs do you think has the best/worst campus

UCLA,UCSD, UCSB are the good ones, Riversids is the worst so far.

UCB - You can feel the history.
UCLA - Overall nice campus.
UCSB - Buildings are old but the scenery makes up for it.
UCSD - Huge campus with some very nice buildings.
UCI - A bit confusing with the whole circle thing.
UCD - Some really nice relaxing areas.
UCSC - Campgrounds anyone?
UCR - If you can ignore the day or two a week when the campus smells like manure then the campus is decent.

1 and #2 are undisputed

1 - Berkeley
2 - UCLA

The middle players are debatable. By academics and reputation, they are roughly:
3 - Davis
4 - San Diego
5 - Irvine

The bottom 3 are easy to rank:
6 - UCSB (no way is UCSB the same caliber as 1-5 above in terms of academics)
7 - UCSC
8 - UC Riverside (academically, socially, reputation-wise, and in just about every single domain, this campus best resembles a Cal State, rather than a UC)

...and let's not forget UCSF, the flagship health sciences campus of the UC system.

Stay out of Riverside

I have seen them all but one--UCI--so I will rank the ones that I have seen.

UCB--Whatever anyone says, this one is the best overall.
UCLA--Pretty campus, and excellent school.
UCSD--This one is very close with UCLA and I had a hard time choosing which would go first. I placed this one lower just because it is less prestigious...
UCD--The only campus that has a medical, law and buisness school.
UCSB
UCSC
UCR

I hear that UCSC has a stronger undergraduate focus then the others.

I would agree with only one ranking: UCR at the bottom. You can cut the Riverside air with a knife, and you are at a 5-fold higher risk for lung cancer if stay in the inland empire for longer than 4 years.

I think he was asking about the CAMPUSES exclusively...

If we're just talking the physical attractiveness of campuses and not about academics, there's no choice in my mind. UC Santa Cruz has the most beautiful campus. I'd say it's followed closely by UCB and UCLA.
UCSB is pretty because of the ocean but its architecture isn't that different from any of the others.

the university of california even divides them into tiers for you... or atleast this is how my school's college counselor presented it, he said that its how the UCs look at themselves
tier one
Berkeley, San Diego and LA
tier two
Davis, Santa Barbara,
tier 3
Santa Cruz, Riverside, Irvine, Merced

within those tiers, you're only going to want to decide based on if you like the size and location of schools. Only exemption I can think of to go to a lower tier school over a higher one would be if one is Really exceptional in a specific program (i.e. if your an astrophysisist, go to Santa Cruz, no matter what)

UCB
UCLA
UCSD
UCD
UCI
UCSB
UCSC
UCR
(UCM?)

This is the way most would rank them. I think that this is also the way USNEWS ranks them. :D

I've only visited the campuses of two UCs: UCLA and UCI, and I would obviously rank UCLA above UCI because of its sheer size and location in LA. However, I'm visiting UCB in two weeks over Spring Break, and I expect it to be more aesthetically pleasing than, if not equal to, UCLA.

Maybe I should be more clear, I'm asking for the best/worst LOOKING campus, like their building, location, view. NOT its ranking, academic program,etc...just the campus itself

Ucla
Ucsb
Ucsc
Ucb

ohhhh, in terms of campus
Santa Cruz
Los Angeles
Santa Barbara
Berkeley
San Diego
Merced
Irvine
Davis
Riverside
Hastings
San Francicso

UCLA is absolutely the best campus. Its also in a really nice area (Beverly Hills and Bel Aire).

Campuses:

1.) UCSC - Don't be fooled by the alleged lackluster academics...this campus is beautiful.
2.) UCB - Okay, I'm biased because I go here. But still, the history is there, and you can't beat the color and fun of Telegraph.
3.) UCSB - Can't argue with sun, beach, and surf.
4.) UCLA - Clean, stylish, classic upscale LA.
5.) UCI - Now, I know that most people would disagree with me, but I like the central park idea and it's not really that bad of a campus besides!
6.) UCSD - Nice enough campus, don't get me wrong, but i just never got too comfortable there. Don't really know why.
7.) UCD - Sacramento. Humidity. Cows. Yuck.
8.) UCR - Haven't visited, but all reports point to a lower-tier campus.

Of the campuses I've seen:
1) UCSC
2) UCB
3) UCLA
4) UCD
5) UCR

What a coincidence - we visited UC Santa Cruz last weekend, and it has the most beautiful campus I've seen. And after years of looking across the country for colleges for 4 children, I'd thought I'd already seen the most beautiful. Features include 5000 acres of redwood groves and gardens, a view of the ocean from some of the dorms, and the individual architecture of each of the ten colleges within the university. No institutional feel, no cinderblocks or cement - the exteriors of the dorms were charming.

berkeleys ugly

"berkeleys ugly"

You obviously haven't seen UC Riverside yet.

Stay Out of Riverside
