1) the great gatsby - fitzgerald
2) the beautiful and damned - "
3) tender is the night - "
4) gone with the wind
5) mother night - kurt vonnegut

I saw a t-shirt that said “I want to F. Scott Fitzgerald,” I thought that was hilarious.

1.) Let’s see, the first half of the Great Gatsby was sexy…I didn’t like the last half. Mr. Jay Gatsby was way more intriguing when nobody knew anything about him.
My favorite character was Jordan Baker.

2.) I really liked the Beautiful and Damned, didn’t get a chance to finish it, though.

Haven’t read the others. Planning to read Gone with the Wind.

Great Gatsby sucks.

Gone with the wind wasn’t bad…

the great gatsby was beautiful (and the only book i read from the list above)

i don’t know what @enemyofthesun is talking about, but somehow my sister holds the same opinion
I DON’T UNDERSTAND

THAT BOOK WAS/IS AMAZING

like i finished reading it a few weeks ago and i just need to read it again i have so many unresolved feelings i can’t even

I’m on the fifth chapter of the great gatsby and I still don’t know where it’s going It’s beautifully written no doubt but what’s he getting at?

I’ve read none of those.

They’re great

I sort of liked The Great Gatsby; it was a lot more bearable than most of the other books we’ve read in English. I’d give it about a 6/10.

I haven’t read any of the others, but I’m a huge fan of Vonnegut, and would recommend nearly everything he’s written.

I love The Great Gatsby!! Honestly couldn’t get into it at first, but once I finished it and understood the whole book I loved the underlying theme/message…SO excited for the movie to come out with Leonardo Dicaprio playing Jay Gatsby (:

The only other book I’ve read from that list is Gone With the Wind. And let’s just say I have an unhealthy obsession with that book. As long as you get through the whole 1400-some pages, it really is a perfect novel - love, destruction, survival, all that good stuff is in it. (:

I liked the Great Gatsby; I’d give it a 7/10. That last line is just great and I know it by heart, plus some other quotes.

I haven’t read any of the others, but I will soon, after I finish the book I’m reading now.

I cant wait for the Leonardo version too :3
