For those who have been there or are in the know, can you rate these schools on safety and beauty of location, hassle or lack thereof in getting dorm room and classes, quality of instructors?

In terms of academic reputation, I would say it goes Dickinson, Villanova, Ursinus, LaSalle, For safety and beauty of location, Dickinson and Ursinus are in much smaller, more rural towns. Villanova is very suburban, but thought it has a nice campus. I hardly know anything about LaSalle, but it is the most city-like atmosphere of the four. Dickinson & Ursinus are probably only ~ 1/4 the size of Villanova.

I disagree. Villanova is definitely more well known than Dickinson. I absolutely hated Dickinson when I stayed there for a month. Villanova is definitely the best school there.

Villanova may be more well known because it is much bigger and the national prominence of its basketball team, but Dickinson's SAT avg is ~ 30 points higher with a lower acceptance rate and more students in the top 10% of their hs class than Villanova.

oh come on. dickinson's acceptance rate is 2% lower and SATs are 20+ higher on average.

thats hardly a significant amount enough to draw conclusions.

villanova / dickinson / rest

dont joke urself nerds saying dickinson is better than nova! lol

Yeah....Nova is leagues ahead of Dickinson....

nova is not known to be as intellectual as some of you are implying....very friendly campus tho, lots of appeal...

the OP didnt ask for intellecutal quality of the student body.

Nova is PLENTY intellectual, it's no Harvard though.

Villanova is the best school of the schools you listed.

Dickinson is still a good school, it's just not anywhere near Nova.
