<p>I have to take PHYS 172 next semester... Which prof is better?</p>
<p>Prof. Garfinkel, Prof. Molnar or Prof. Malis?</p>
<p>Rate 'em the basis of helpfulness, clarity and easiness/leniency?</p>
<p>It’s going to come down to what class section fits into your schedule and/or which class isn’t full…</p>
<p>I am gonna make my schedule around my PHYS 172 lecture… Thats the one I am most worried about grade-wise…thus the need for the best prof.</p>
<p>Honestly, the quality of the professor isn’t going to help. All PHYS 172 professors (are required to) follow the same lecture notes. The notes themselves are bad. So even the best professor isn’t going to give a good lecture.</p>
<p>I’ve taken this class (got an A) and TA’ed it for 3 semesters. Trust me when I say, don’t worry about the professor. Ask him for help, but the lectures are going to be somewhat worthless. The TAs and help room on the other hand can significantly help you out if you choose to ask for their help.</p>
