Raw Score Conversion

I have the Blue Book and Barron's SAT Prep book. In both books, the conversion from raw score to scaled score is very imprecise. My CR raw score in the diagnostic test in the Barron's book is 64, and the conversion table says that raw scores of 58-67 translate to somewhere between a 700 and an 800. Is there any way for me to get a more accurate scaled score?

After having taken the diagnostic test, I noticed that it was harder than the SAT practice test that the College Board has online. This was expected, because the Barron's book is known to more difficult than the real SAT. However, I only noticed the heightened difficulty in the math section. My raw score in this section plummeted by a good 10 points. Is such a large drop in my score normal for a Barron's test?

In the CR section of the Barron's book, how do the sentence completion questions compare to those on the SAT? I made no mistakes in this section, which is making me think that it might be easier than it should be.

I realize that this post is all over the place, but after having spent the last few hours taking a practice test, I'm really not able to make it any better, haha.

A 64 is 780-800, depending on the curve.

Yeah, the math was seriously not what I expected.. Hopefully, Barron’s SAT Prep book is a lot easier than the real thing.

I hope you mean “harder.”
