Raw Score vs. Curves

Ok so I was reading http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/sat-preparation/633765-arachnotrons-sat-prep-advice.html, and I saw this....http://img440.imageshack.us/img440/7030/ccprepcurvehu1.jpg

I was kinda shocked how they curved a 640-670 to a 800.... So can somebody please explain to me if the nowaday SAT I's are actually curved as much as this one (the one in the picture is from a 2007 test)

Yea :P

Hey, I’m not exactly sure what you’re pointing to in terms of the curve. But it seems like the scores are not curved that much, as for CR, 800 is for getting 64-67 (67 being the highest) raw score points, and for Math, 800 is getting all 54 questions, and for Reading multiple choice, 800 is for getting 48-49 (49 being the highest) questions.

There seems like there’s only a little curve for very high scores in CR and Writing, and none for math.

So if you can clarify what you mean by getting an 800 for 640-670, that would be helpful. I might’ve misunderstood you.

Never mind, you kinda answered it in the first paragraph, thanks alot :)

Google “released SAT curves” for all of the curves.
