You could have a perfect score and a 4.0 and it would still be difficult to tell you. For Harvard, though, your ECs and awards are lacking. Any other school I’d say is probable, but I can’t say that about H. Also, it doesn’t help that you’re Asian.

what would good ECs be then?

harvard only rejects one out of 4 “water walkers” (perfect scores), so im pretty darn sure youre in, im not going to guarentee anything though, thats just dumb when it comes to harvard

The acceptance rate for 2400’s is around 30-40% - and that number is misleading, because many people with major EC achievements have perfect scores.

ah, my bad, turns out i was getting that from a book written in 2003. my how times have changed

Congratulations on your admittance into Harvard University!

He already has a 4.0 and a 2390 is essentially a perfect score.

Your EC’s are indeed lacking for Harvard, which also applies to most of the Ivies and Stanford, but you can still get in if you write good essays, get good recs, and get lucky.

Unless you are recruited for running, it’s a significant reach - ECs are just too weak.
