-i need help with my essays. my counselor was absolutely no use! she read it and said that she enjoyed it. nothing more. there was absolutely no feedback from her! I'm going to see some of my past english teachers tomorrow to get them to look over them.

if anyone's interested, can you please read it and give me some feedback? THANKS(:<3

THIS IS SO UNBELIEVABLY LONG! Sorry guys! But thanks so much for taking time to reading this (:

also, in addition to berkeley, can you guys chance me for UCLA, UCSD, and UCI. I'm only applying to those four colleges. YEEP!

bump please (:

hey, I'm class of 09' also, so I'll be in the melting pot too for the UC's.

Sorry to hear about your misfortune with the ELC.

Anyways, your rank is very good, and it looks like you definitely challenged yourself in terms of courseload.

Now, to calculate your UC GPA, you take your semester grades from 10-11th grade, and give extra WEIGHT to only 8 semesters (honor classes that are approved for weight, and AP classes). (i.e.- A in AP Calc = 5 pts. B in Honors Pre-Calc = 4 pts. A in Spanish 3 = 4 pts) Add it all up and divide by the # of semesters.

You have an above average SAT I score for Berk, and for the rest of the UC's as well.
Your SAT II scores are decent, and that is all you need anyway for the UC's do not take SAT II scores too much into consideration.

From looking at your EC's, you have a considerable amount of leadership positions and it looks like you spend your free time usefully.

At least you have awards... I have barely any..

And good luck on your essays.

UCB: high match
UCLA: high match
UCSD: match
UCI: low match

Match. You're a much better applicant than the usual dime a dozen UC Berkeley accepts all the time.

thanks guys (: anyone else?

BUMP. sadd.

your CA residence will push you over the edge, so slight risk, but Ive got a really good feeling you'll get in.
