RC assignments leaked?

<p>My D heard through the grapevine that this year's Residential College assignments were accidentally posted briefly on a Yale website earlier today or yesterday but the page has since been taken down. Has anyone here heard about this?</p>

<p>The residential college assignments were leaked on the Yale directory: [Yale</a> Phonebook](<a href=“http://directory.yale.edu/phonebook/index.htm]Yale”>http://directory.yale.edu/phonebook/index.htm). All members of the class of 2014 are included in that site, and up until yesterday, the only information available consisted of their names and emails. Yesterday, however, the residential college affiliations were put onto the site, but were taken down later in the day. The following email was then sent to everyone:</p>

Dear Members of the Class of 2014,</p>

<p>Some of you may have discovered earlier today that some housing assignments for the Class of 2014 had been posted inadvertently. We regret the premature release of this information about college assignments, which is at this stage still in progress and thus incomplete. The partial information that was previously posted is no longer publicly available. We will release the full roster of college assignments at the end of June.</p>

<p>Apparently they were taking them down in alphabetical order so the kids with last names in the latter part of the alphabet (T and onwards, for example), could still check out their residential college assignments until well into the night.</p>
