Rd- 2013

We live near NYC, nothing today but my son’s GC expects him to be accepted. Maybe Monday. Geneseo also accepts a lot of kids for spring semester, my daughter was in that category and it’s a good deal, the spring freshmen all make friends with each other and if you go to community college first semester and live at home, it’s nice financially. So consider that if Geneseo is your first choice and you get spring acceptance!

Nothing on Long Island Today.

Just got my acceptance letter, a little surprised that I got in in comparison to other peoples stats. Live about 50 miles away from the school. Last name begins with an R.

Nada here either. I guess it’s Monday.

Kid (possibly athletic recruit) from my school got accepted today. Nothing at my house yet…

Did any of you interview at Geneseo?

My daughter got acceptance letter today we live right outside of NYC - Applied Regular Decision in December. Good luck to everyone!

My son got his acceptance today! That’s last name beginning with a D in Brooklyn, NY. Good luck to everybody!

My daughter’s at work and big envelope just arrived!! Hopefully big envelope means yes??? Applied RD late Dec., last name starts with F.

Yes Big envelope means yes!!! My son did not interview- just a campus tour last year

Our acceptance envelope was big! Good luck magic!

Anyone on Long Island hear…Im starting to worry…

@smrogs…how low is low stats…just curious…my daughter is boarderline.

We’re in Rockland County and got the envelope today. Good Luck to all.

On Long Island and received acceptance today. We were confident with a 98 unweighted average and 1460 SAT but I was hoping for Scholarship info too.

Little surprised I didn’t get a letter today. I applied for their bs/md program and the woman said I’d hear if I got into Geneseo next week but everyone seems to have heard back today. Hopefully next week…

We heard nothing today, we live outside Boston.

My kids received their acceptance today - Long Island.

My son received his acceptance today (3/2/13). We live in Central NY. Last name starts with G. No scholarship info in the letter. Anything like that may be included in the financial info letter in mid March.

What I think really helped is that I am a volunteer firefighter and really made that known in my application.
Also applied back in October.

@eagles14000 I applied to the BS/MD program too, and I haven’t heard anything, while a couple of my friends did. A bit surprising, but nothing too worrying. In what part of NY do you live?
