Thanks for posting, galynn. Daughter has not received her letter yet, but is good to know that your son’s online status hasn’t changed it. Give us a little hope!

On their website it says, “Students considering a number of different colleges should apply under our Regular Decision process. The Regular Decision application deadline is January 15 and applicants will be notified by March 15.” So…it’s March 16! Where is the notification? Haha.

I’m getting a little anxious If my status hasn’t changed it might be that I didn’t get any scholarship or that I might have been rejected
It makes sense since I’m an international student who applied for Financial Aid, and I need a huge amount. Oh well, it’s nice to know.

Thanks @EmmaWillard2013, and yea we’ll just have to wait @jaccrazzi Good luck!

@guille19: I think you don’t have to worry. Perhaps international students will have to wait longer. I know many of my friends who are very excellent applying to St Olaf, but they have not heard anything news either. Just keep believing and you’ll be fine!

@jaccrazzi, it takes more than a day for a mail to be transported to its destination. i applied ED, and got my acceptance on the 17th of December. However, my account told me on the 15th that it was awaiting my enrollment deposit, so that is how i knew i got accepted.

@Great Con people
who is applying?

my D’s page just has the “application submitted” and checklist. none of the other terms I see above… hoping the mail is on a fast plane to texas…

Hey guys,

International applicant here, I have a question for both US and international applicants. Have any of you received their letters, been accepted and still don’t have their status St. Olaf site updated with the “right side menu”?

WOOHOO! I finally got my thick envelope in the mail I’m home from school today so that’s why I know so soon haha.

@sashans13 I just checked online, and my status HAS NOT changed yet.

I was invited to the Fly-In Program, anyone else?

Texasdadwaiting, I am in the same boat. I live in Orlando, FL and could not be more nervous. My web page has not changed at all.

@sashans13 hv u received the letter from them? and where r u from? i’m an intl student too…
for me, high chance is i’m rejected cause i received no info from the adcom as well as the web page, and it’s alr the 18th :(

Serbia, nothing here yet, it usually takes 8~10 days for mail from US to reach me, so we’ll see about it. Don’t lose hope yet.

Btw, why did you mention adcoms? Are they supposed to contact you if you’ve been accepted?

My daughter received her letter today, she was waitlisted. Her online status has not changed.

Hi all!
I just got my acceptance email, but I’m an international student (though currently living in the US)! Super excited, so now I only have to wait for financial aid info to see whether I can afford it or not.
Anyway, I hope you all get notified soon! Perhaps I’ll see you/your child next year?

@ sashans13 sr i mean the admission officer… i think they’d rather email since regular mail takes wayy too much time to reach intl applicants

@Sunny321 I’m also an international student, but I didn’t get any e-mail notification. I wonder if they’ll send us the e-mail for intl student.

@beablue11 I, too didn’t get any notification. Let’s just cross our fingers…

I jut received an email today… I knew I made a mistake :’)

Good luck to everyone of the Class of 2017! Wish you the best :)

I got in but with no scholarship money. . . even though with comparable schools I got upwards of 16,000. Don’t think I will end up attending. Congratulations to everyone!

@123dana123 Congrats on your acceptance but sorry about your financial aid situation. How did you find out? I don’t see anything on the application-status website or in my letter.

D rejected in Wisconsin today. Sad day…she loved St. Olaf.

My daughter is also accepted. It was the first acceptance of four without a scholarship offer. I hope the financial aid package is a good one. It’s not starting off so promising.
