How did you find out about merit aid?

Accepted, when you view the acceptance letter online make sure your sound is on…haha

@LAMuniv wow that is an awesome scholarship and well above what my son received. He also got good need based aid but that will disappear when he is a sophomore. I am self employed and my income goes up and down.

I’m in, but I don’t see the financial aid. How do you access it?

Wait listed and I’m PISSED

@GamerGal27 thanks! My dad is self-employed as well, so I know how you feel it’s a pain when filling out FA paperwork…

Haha! Is that their fight song?

@CompSciBrit96 There is a link in the lower left to the FA letter

My son got in but with only 24000 a year in merit aid he will be looking elsewhere. Good luck everyone!

Thanks GamerGal, but I still don’t see it. Not an auspicious start! I am a medalist so I should have something, but I do not see a link. Does the link have a name?

@midwestblues wow $24000 is awesome. Your son must be very smart. Sorry he won’t come to RPI. The only thing that would stop my son is a USC admit.

I remember last year some people did not get their financial aid info at the same time as the decision. Did you get all your stuff in by the priority deadline?

My daughter was accepted with 25,000 leadership.
She is extremely shy, so they should come up with a better name.
We’ll be there for accepted student days.
So far she will be deciding between Northeastern and RPI.

Click on View Update to see the decision. Now under the Directors signature it should say Financial Aid Letter March 8 2014. That is a link. Click on it to see the FA letter.

@CompSciBrit96 I don’t see the financial aid link either

@CompSciBrit96 I don’t see the financial aid link either

@GamerGal27, lower left of the admissions letter or the status page?

My daughter has a 4.2 GPA and SATs around 2100. She’s got a B in AP chemistry , but she has worked in a science and health job for the past year. And she’s a girl! How could she get rejected? Anyone care to comment.

Admissions letter

@proudfather I wouldn’t be able to tell based off of just stats. I was accepted and I received a B in freshman honours biology, a B in juionr Honours Optics, and a B winter term grade in AP physics this year, though, so I don’t think that B would rule admissions out. (You can see why I decided a month ago that I actually am more of a humanities person, haha)
