i rock b/c although I haven't freaked out, I've met really awesome people on here & I hope we all end up at Barnard :)

Haha, I’m totally in the mood to brag (overcompensating for my flaws and all)! :P

Anyway, I rock because I am in Catalonia right now. I speak Spanish (Castilian), but arrived here not knowing a word of Catalan. It’s been pretty crazy, but I am adjusting. I am also proud because I talk in spite of the fact that I have an accent.

I’m a junior who chose to graduate early and even if some colleges aren’t seeing the virtue of my decision, I’m glad that I did it!

also an editor-in-chief of the lit mag too! although this year my position has been somewhat compromised on the lit mag… :x

I rock because I moved to NYC on my own, started my own business and now found the perfect place for ambitious women like me: BARNARD!

… oh yeah and I’m breaking down barriers for Hispanic women!

I rock b/c despite not getting into Barnard and gaining weight like crazy, as well as fainting occasionally because of my anemia and Grave’s Disease I’m still okay! I learned to take my health as a blessing, and now I"m able to see that obstacles happen in life, and the only thing that matters is how you confront them! :)

p.s. congrats misssaladbar! That’s such an accomplishment, I’m doing the same for Haitian women! but most likely at Bryn Mawr or Spelman (if they hurry up and tell me my decision!) :)
