<p>Their website said “late March”. Wish we had a definite!</p>
<p>It might be next week before the spring break and Easter.</p>
<p>Yeah, wish I knew. It’s just “late march.” Think literally, late march.</p>
<p>I think ED was “mid-december” So about the 15th, I got mine? I’m guessing around March 25th-31st, for RD.</p>
<p>I applied ED. I was in love, and they had flown me out to see it for explore weekend. The campus is stunning; I don’t know if you’ve been?</p>
<p>I haven’t been coz I live in Europe and didn’t find enough time nor money to visit US colleges. I also applied ED (got mine on Dec 11) but was deferred. Can’t wait for the decision :)</p>
<p>I visited in December, though it was pouring and I got soaked. I still loved it. I remember foolishly wearing flats for my interview, and not considering the weather. Needless to say, my feet were cold the whole way home.</p>
<p>Yes, I went november, and it poured a lot. They gave me a rain poncho though! They had them in the admissions office, don’t know if you picked one up. </p>
<p>(Personally, as I live in the southwest, and get very little rain at all, I’m SO excited to be getting regular rains.)</p>
<p>The campus is stunning- there’s a little lake in the arbo, and Thames River and Long Island sound nearby. They had really great food (trust me, I’ve had really bad dorm food, elsewhere) and I even had creampuffs for desert one night! And they have Sundae Sunday, so there’s icecream and toppings laid out in the main dining hall. I stayed in Burdick (the quiet dorm) on central campus, and I really liked it. (Quiet enough to study, but certainly not dead.) The dining room in Burdick was pretty too- like a big breakfast nook. </p>
<p>The school gave us tons of time to explore around campus, so I wandered around a bit. The library is really cool, because they have an Asian Art reading room, and it works out so that the higher up you go, the quieter it gets. So intense studying is top floor stuff, but there’s a cafe in the basement for hanging out, and running through notes or something. </p>
<p>It’s a small school and town, but there was a lot to do on the weekend I went- There was three major things the friday I arrived (A Capella Concert, Asian Arts/Dance show Fusion, and Friday Night Live). The rest of the weekend was some parties, a few movie nights and game night at Unity House (Minority center) and so on. </p>
<p>I didn’t go to the propsie party, because it lasted till 2am, and my interview was at 9:30 the next day; but some other kids went. Haha, luckily, the adcom seemed to understand, and they fed us/let us wake up a bit. </p>
<p>There’s even an admissions cat, and a financial aid office cat. 
They’re usually outside, because people can be allergic, but I’m going to be leaving my cats behind, and it’ll be nice to have pets around.</p>
<p>Yurtle did u get in? Do you know when we can expect the decisions to be sent out?</p>
<p>I got in, and I don’t know about RD decisions.</p>
<p>Oooh, I had no idea about the cats! I’ll be leaving my two cats at home too, and I’ll miss them.</p>
<p>Same, Night. Admissions cat is a longhair, and he’s outside, so no allergies are bugged. I think it was a cream colored kitty. But the cat in Financial Aid Office is an orange tabby, just like my Dad’s cat; very sweet, and liked to be petted.</p>
<p>On a list of other fun things I found out:</p>

<li>There’s a rusty swing set behind the Chapel on campus. I was really excited, since no one mentioned it was there. The chapel holds all the different denominations on campus, so I guess I heard more about that. (My host missed mass.)</li>
<li>The main administration building has a long paved walk lined with trees. The door at the end, however, can’t be opened, as it’s no longer a functioning door. xD</li>

<p>How is Conn’s women’s soccer team? Do you maybe know?</p>
<p>I don’t know if it’s one of their better teams or not; but the soccer fields were really pretty. Haha, I’m not much of an athlete. I think one of the other girls asked about it- I’m not sure last year was one of their best seasons, but I think most of Conn’s teams are okay.</p>
<p>Congradulations on getting in! What where your stats? I’m applying there next year- it’s beautiful!</p>

<p>@Whatevert - 3.3 UW (I honestly don’t remember my weighted GPA, but as of junior year I’d taken 4 APs, and am taking another 4 senior year.) 27 ACT (But you don’t need to send that score) Uh, my 4 already done AP tests were high scores: 4-5-5-4. I had at least one EC I thought stood out, some great teacher recs, awesome essays (I’m a big writer, so go figure 
). I was pretty weak in math, but I knew my senior math grade was slipping and signed an agreement with my teacher to get tutored weekly, and faxed it to Conn. I think that was my smartest move- I hate math, but I didn’t want my grade to stand out as a “she’s not doing anything, and that’s really ugly.” I brought my grade up by quite a bit. If I study hard, I might have a B in that class. </p>
<p>I’m also an URM, and from a state they don’t typically have a lot of students from. </p>
<p>I interviewed on campus- I thought all the adcom officers were really nice, and I even chatted with one of them later (Thankfully, she seemed to think Collegeconfidential sounded quite silly; and had never before heard of it.) with another student. </p>
<p>There are no propsie email/login accounts. They’ll send info to your email sometimes, but your acceptance/denial will go through the mail. Big letter style- I was so excited when I saw mine. This year it just read “WELCOME.” across the top of the envelope, and it came with a folder of my acceptance letter, and finaid info. Students won’t get an @conncoll.edu email for awhile- not until sometime in the summer, I believe. When the RD kids get their student info, I should be getting some more of mine too- the housing form, the hometown publicity form, the health form, etc.</p>
<p>I heard admissions decisions go out on March 26.</p>

<p>From who? The website just says “late march”. Are we talking arrival March 26th, or being mailed out then? I know some other folks waiting to hear too!</p>
