RD Applicants

That was the date mentioned by someone in admissions. Don’t now if that means arrival or mailing date. Sorry.

ED decisions were sent out on Friday, the 11th of December. So I’m expecting to wake up on Saturday and see one new e-mail from Conncoll  This Friday, i.e. Saturday in my case will be terrible. Too many decisions are coming out. sigh

I got an email from Conn about half an hour ago about preview weekend. It’s not a formal acceptance, but “a precursor to the formal acceptance letter you should be receiving in the mail”. Good luck everyone!

I’m also what would be considered a minority.

Congrats Quirindongo! Want me to add you to the Conn class of '14 group on FB or do you want to wait until you get a letter in your hands? (And what is ‘considered’ a minority? Haha. :] )

I got into Washington University in St. Louis the other week, and Conn was my second choice. My brother goes there and absolutely loves it. It’s sort of bittersweet being done with the process because I sort of wish I could go to both schools, but for my future pursuits Wash U. has been my first choice, and that’s where I’ll enroll. I’ll never forget Conn, and I’ll have to visit my brother a lot! Thanks for inviting me anyway.

btw, “considered” a minority means I’m cuban and puerto rican, but I’m white. I said it because the email was regarding a sort of multicultural weekend.

I just got into Union College as a Union Scholar :D

Ah. I’m hispanic and white, so I get what you mean. Congrats luluzg!

did any aid seeking internationals here get in for RD??

I just got rejected. I was an ED applicant. That’s ok though, I found more schools I like better.

Good luck everyone :)

@3333 I don’t know yet. I assume that part of the class will be internationals, and some will seek aid/get it. Emails are coming out soon.

Sorry luluzg.

^^ i got wait-listed… they told me that they didn’t have any funds to support me right now… :frowning: :(…

I have a really good SAT score, high school GPA and I sent in really goods essays too…I’m an international applicant though and my efc is 10k…REJECTED.:)

I got REJECTED also. And I thought I had good essays – should’ve used them for another school. What a waste. Ahhhh… and I really liked conn. This is my second most depressing rejection (so far). I felt far worse when Colgate rejected me. Btw I’m an international with an EFC of 10000. Still got fingers crossed for 6 more schools. Congrats to all who got in. For the rest, hang in there.

Well, I hate to be the only to receive good news, but…

I got ACCEPTED today; the letter came pretty quickly because I live in Connecticut. My SAT scores were excellent, ECs were great, grades were pretty good, and I was friendly with my regional admissions officer… (-;

Best of luck to everyone else! Perhaps I’ll see you at an open house?

^^ But you plan to go to swarthmore? XD Congrats. I know some other students will be going to open house: [Welcome to Facebook | Facebook](<a href=“Facebook - log in or sign up”>Facebook - log in or sign up)

Hmmm…I had a lot of need, and got in, but I’m not international. (And I app’d ED)

Still waiting for my letter here. I was expecting something given that I live across the Sound from Conn, but I guess I’ll have to wait until Monday!

Well I had hoped to go to Swarthmore, but got rejected ED. Unfortunately, I was foolhardy enough to make this account before receiving my admissions decision…

xD That’s okay!

:D Welcome anyways.

I live in CT about 40 min or so away from Conn. College, so pretty frustrating that I haven’t received a letter yet. :/
