hope some of u could help me out in this dilemma......

Many applicants to good schools do not send resumes. If you decide to send one, make the information that shows you at your best easy to spot -- not cluttered with detail. Use only one standard font and no decorations , colors or distractions. Resume is usually not an official part of the app unless required by the school, just an extra--need not be signed by anyone

Haha, I've heard both that they kinda like it and that they ABSOLUTELY HATE IT because it gives them so much more work to look through the thing (since yes, they usually go through whatever you send unless you've specifically been told not to send something).

You can make the call...I'd think hard though before sending one in.

3-page resume is overkill. If you must send one, highlight the most important stuff on one page that is well-designed to draw attention to aspects not covered in the rest of the app. Only reason for more than one page is if you already had about 25 publications!

lol but the 3 page one is the compressed one...i couldnt go any smaller thenn\ that .it would be at the expense of crossing major awards and all...i can max make it 2 and half...would that be ok/

My g.c. sent mine in along with my transcript. It was one and a half pages long but only covered my 5 major ECs. All the other fluff (NHS, Key Club, Mock Congress, community service, etc.) was left off. I wouldn't call it a resume but basically a supplement to the Activity/Interest section as I could not include these details on the application. I do not believe this was overkill.

It's a well-known fact that Princeton accepts roughly .05% of regular decision applicants. If you didn't apply early, you have almost no chance of getting in and you will then have to work at Burger King (if they let Princeton rejects even work there LOL!) because the only school in the entire world is Princeton
