Freshman Year: 7 honors and gym
Sophomore Year: 6 honors, gym, and AP US
Junior Year: 4 honors, AP Chem, AP BC Calc, AP Psychology, AP Gov
Senior Year: 2 honors, AP Econ, AP Comparative, AP Physics, AP English lit, AP Euro, Statistics class in a dual enrollment program
Moderate upward trend

<p>Numbers are good (SAT’s and SAT II’s). Your GPA is slightly slow, but the upward trend can make up for that. Your secondary school rigor is good and I see that you feel that your LORs and essays are good as well. Your E.C.'s seem scattered, but I can see commitment. I’d said you have a great chance of getting into Duke. Very competitive. Upper quartile, but that’s just me.</p>

<p>I heard from the parents of a current student at Duke that in a speech to parents Dean Guttentag talked about how much respect he has for Eagle Scouts. Loves them from an admissions standpoint.</p>

I hope he also likes jrotc cadets who will be applying for ROTC scholarships…and speak Chinese. :)</p>
