Ok, well I'm about to put my application in the mail ED to JHU. ND is one of three other major universities I am applying to RD incase I do not get in, which is about 50/50 at this point.

My stats lowdown
GPA: 3.89 Weighted, top 5%
ACT: 33 (99th percentile) 32 English 32 Math 33 Reading 35 Science
Intended Major: Psychology or Biology
Major ECs: Many clubs, a couple leadership positions, hospital volunteer, varsity cross country and track
AP/Honors: 7 AP Classes total, 8 Honors classes total, the rest regular

Other notes: I have not completed the Physics requirement for ND, but plan to complete it next semester and I mention this in my app.

I think you have a good shot, though I cringe at ND being a backup school. lol, just my bias, however.

If you submit your application before you hear from Hopkins and you get in there please withdraw your ND one as it may allow one more kid to get in, you know? I think you have a good shot, good luck with all your schools

I am not even going to hand in any of my college apps until after I hear from JHU on dec. 15. So there is a chance that you won't have to deal with me in the application pool at all.

I take offense to that actually. Despite the bad reputation that Arkansas has in certain areas of the state their are fine learning instituitions in the Northwest and middle region of the state. I was stating my state, because maybe geographically the university is looking for diversity.
