<p>You have a great chance. Emory is truly a holistic school. Numbers don’t mean everything to them. Show the admissions office WHY and HOW MUCH you want to go here. They take everything into consideration. My scores weren’t amazing, but my extracurricular and essays really showed Emory that I was a well rounded person. Good luck on getting in, and you’ll love it here (if you choose to come here). I do!!</p>

<p>Referring to the OP. How hard is it to get a good GPA at your high school? A 3.86 isn’t uniform across all high schools.</p>

<p>Yeah most of my classes are ap and honors…
our ap/honors classes are much harder than the normal classes and it’s pretty hard to get a good gpa. It not REALLY hard but not easy either.</p>
