Thousands of BC applicants have the same statistics. Some have higher statistics, some have lower. But in applying to BC you recognize that this school which is in the suburbs of Boston is many students’ “dream school” and a reach for everyone who applies. That’s why you should not be surprised if the little envelope comes instead of the big packet with the folder.

If you are a good match for Boston College and truly want to attend, I hope that you get in. If you have possibles and probables on your list, then you will not be left in college limbo since not everyone who expects to get admitted does. And some who don’t expect to do! If you are as your name implies a “guru of greatness”, then it should be no problem. Good luck.

It looks like you have a good chance. Your subject tests scores seem a little low, but other than that I’d say accepted! It may help you to know that my BC sophmore daughter sent a letter in mid February to update the selection board about any accomplishments she had achieved since her application submission.
