I'm going to say that you have a small chance. Your SAT's are pretty much smack dab in the middle, however, your ECs may not be as strong as the typical Hopkins student. Several of them are rather generic. Take everything with a grain of salt though. It's the adcoms opinions, and only theirs that matter.

Great essays and rec letters would definitely help.

i agree with mike...wat happened to ur aps??
however, who's who is really good i think and ur gpa and ranks def good, so u do have a fair shot. good luck!!

Yeah, I know. I got the letter at the last minute and before I could find out more I wrote it on my app. I don't think it should hurt my chances though. Disregarding that, how are my chances?

I'm not really sure...but i think your ECs are not that "outstanding" or anything... It's rather bit typical. your SAT or GPA doesn't really help that much either.

write a really really good essay and cross your fingers for an acceptance letter!!!;) (which I'm doing this myself. haha)

I know my AP scores are low but my IB scores aren't that bad (i forgot to mention them). I got a 6 on IB Spanish Language and a 5 on IB ITGS (technology).

I don't know, I have heard different things. Some people say that colleges only look to see that you have taken them and others say that scores actually matter. I am curious about the answer to that question as well. I hope they don't have an effect on admission.

Is it true that it is often beneficial to stay in touch with the representative of your region? I read on another thread that keeping contact with your admissions counselor will have them remember your name.

i don't think AP scores count a lot, if at all. when i applied, i had gotten two 2's and a 3 on my APs and i doubt there's anyway for the admissions to see them unless you had already sent in the scores to them. but i got into bme with those AP scores so i'm guessing it didnt really matter lol.
