<p>GPA: 3.4UW school doesn't weight w/ 5 Ap's and 5 honors courses
SAT: 1450 M740 V710, psat:216 National Merit Semi Finalist (is the really that important?)
Essays: One really excellent one I'm using at all the schools with better than good ones for each
Recs: 2 favorite teachers wrote excellent letters
EC's: 200+ volunteer hours, junior state of america, young democrats club, math club, knowledge bowl, tennis 4 year varsity and captain senior year, student senate, founder of a used cell phone drive for domestic violence awareness
Character: like to have lots of fun, can get along with about anyone but I love being around really smart people who have a dumb sense of humor (i.e. albert einstein who laughs his head off watching the movie Old School haha)
Location: Bellevue, WA Newsweek magazine ranked us the 13th best public high school in the country two years ago. </p>

<p>You sound like you have an excellent chance, and if you have already turned your application in (or you plan to do so by the 15th), then you may even get some merit aid.</p>

<p>Yeah, I would say that is the weakest part of your application, unfortunately. But there's no reason to feel bad about it now, it's done. Work your butt off for the rest of the terms this year, I guess.</p>

<p>W&L does have a high average high school GPA, but it's nothing that should stop you from sending the application in.</p>
