-Soccer “teacher” (taught young kids basic soccer skills, formed youth teams and played weekly games)
-Tutor (elementary kids with homework, projects.)

-Volunteer at Open Space Preserve Nature Center.</p>

<p>CHURCH:
-Welcoming Team (many jobs: Greeting in front of the stairs, making flyers, table representative, etc)
-Homeless Ministry (serve food to the homeless in a parking lot)</p>

-Aid for Africa: Publicity head (designing shirts for the club, creating flyers, etc)
-Music: Symphonic Orchestra (11th) Concert Orchestra (12th) </p>

<p>I would say you have a decent chance to get in. Not a great chance, not a slim chance, but a decent/fairly good chance. Your GPA is fairly solid and some strong SAT's will help you out. Unfortunately, Asians applying to most high-end schools tend to have the highest stats, so try and differentiate yourself as best as possible with your EC's as well as your essay. Seems like you have some interesting experiences to draw upon for that essay so milk that opportunity for all it is worth. Good luck..</p>

<p>Will I have a hard time with CAS/SMG? Will I be put into CGS? Or... not even that?</p>
