Recs: Will be great, possibly have a professor at CMU write a rec.
Essays: Should be good.
Awards: Regional awards in science, robotics, music, school science/tech. awards, Rensselaer Medal, National Merit Commended, AP Scholar w/ Distinction.
Leadership: Music- concertmaster, robotics- captain, secretary, student council -representative, school clubs-officer, and other school-related activities.
AP Scores: 4's and 5's on 6 AP Exams. </p>

<p>NOT an URM.
Go to a Private School.
Asking for zero financial aid.
Will send CD supplement for music.
I have visited Cornell before and attended info. sessions, tours, etc.</p>

<p>Major: 1) Information Science at CALS (or biometry & stats... not sure yet)
2) Computer Science at Engineering </p>

<p>ur chances r pretty good, and i heard through the grapevine that the chances for admission are even better if u don ask for fa, so u shouldn't have 2 much problem.
i think a bit more volunteer stuff can't hurt...</p>

Should I not apply for Engineering, since my Math SAT I is much worse than my Math SAT II? I only got a 710 =/</p>

<p>I'd say very good chances. I guess you took AP Computer science and got a 5, so I think you can be in, unless your essay is simply conventional, and recs are mediocre.
If your essay was splendid, and decent recs, I'd say you'd be a match for cornell</p>
