I have great recommendations, essays will be good too
I want to major in engineering, but i dont know which type yet
Bucknell is my top choice school and I REALLY REALLY want to go here.
I would apply EDII, but I am worried about financial aid, and I want to make sure that I would get enough before I withdraw all my other applications/acceptances.

The average SAT score in the college of engineering is around 1360, so you may be at a disadvantage for RD. Your UW GPA is on the low side as well. Your ECs and curriculum seem strong however. I would say that BU is a slight reach.

To be honest with you, I think your got pretty good chance of getting in, especially with your ECs and the AP classes you've taken.
SAT isn't the most important part, so... I hope you get in, then I will have a chance to meet you.

Thanks. I hope I get in Bucknell is my top choice, and if I get in I will definitely go there! Is there anything else I can do to increase my chances of getting in? What sorts of things to admissions officers like to see in applications?

try to get ur 1600 SAT to at least 1300+

make sure your essays and recommendations are great, they must make you stand out, out of 8000+ applicants since you're doing RD.

continue your good work inside and outside of school.. I see you half way there already.

How much does Bucknell take into account your class rank? Im in the top 25% of my class, but im worried because im ranked 61/246. Will that make that much of a difference or does it not really matter. Our school is filled with people who have a 4.0 because they were scared to get a B in an honors or AP class or didn't want to do extra work.
