Such a good new after the bad 2 wks. Got in Uci , UCSD , waitlist at Wellesley , bryn mawr,
Rejected at cmc, Pomona .

Wow Fun900, you got the letter in only 1 day, all the way in Maine? I hope that doesn’t mean a rejection is on the way. We are in Seattle.

Sorry, I meant Jonathan443322! I need to pay closer attention, sigh

My D was early decision so the letter was in December.

Yes, I am an idiot! Good thing I am the mom and not the student :). In my defense, the subject line said “RD” so I just assumed. I think it’s time for me to just let the decisions come and get off of CC!

https://twitter.com/pitzercollege They were sent friday.

Raincat, If you are an idiot so are the rest of us moms!! This whole process is crazy making. And I thought the same thing too when the person from Maine described the orange envelope. I’m a college counselor and my first thought was, oh no! My student didn’t get a letter yet and we’re not as far away as Maine. You are not alone. Good luck to your child!

Thanks DartDart. This our first time going through this process and its been a wild ride. Admission process is soooo different than in the 80’s. We did get the big orange envelope this morning. Wish I could open it, ha ha. My son won’t be home until 5 pm tonight! Good luck to everyone else!!

My son got the orange envelope today with “congratulations” written all over it. He also got a rejection from Pomona today as well. At least some good with the bad. He has some decisions to make. Congrats to everyone who gets in. The letter said that 14.6% were admitted this year.
