<p>Does anyone know Tufts's true RD date. A friend really wants to know. I didn't apply.</p>

<p>Because if you can roughly estimate when the decision is coming, then it will feel like you know exactly when its coming. And if you know exactly, then that means you’ll find out sooner and won’t have to wait as long. That’s just science.</p>

<p>It’ll be around April 1st sometime. But you know what? Knowing the EXACT time isn’t going to help you/your friend out, it’s going to make you go insane. You’ll feel like you’re having a small-scale heart attack as the times ticks closer. So not worth it.
Relax, hang out with your friends, watch meaningless tv, stay on Facebook way too long, and then remember to check on, like, April 3rd. Problem solved.</p>

<p>Well, on their website, it says their notification is April 1st. So just wait till then. If you don’t get anything…then you can freak out. Jumbo style. ;)</p>

<p>There’s no reasonable need to obsessively checking TAMS or CollegeConfidential hoping for news about the date. We always release after the school day is over, and the date is still not firmly set.</p>

<p>yes, dan is actually an admissions officer. i’ve met him in person. and yes, his personality is the same in person as it is on college confidential. </p>

<p>dan, my ED decision is still up on TAMS, where it says “your admissions decision is now available.” will that change to “your regular decision is now available” or will i just have to click in the same place?</p>

<p>Tufts, in an attempt to be associated with the Ivy League, posts its admission results on the same day as Harvard. Tufts is a good school, and should show more self-respect that this. It will never be Harvard, but what will? Tufts has come a long way since the 1970’s and its administration seems to be the only one which hasn’t figured it out.</p>
