RD decision questions

Hi guys, I'm on vacation in India so I may not be getting my decision for a while. I've got a few questions (these have probably been discussed earlier, but why not consolidate them):

[ul]
[li]Is it common for Pomona to send their decisions out approx. two weeks before their published notification deadline of April 10th?
[/li]

[li]Is there any way (other than postal mail) I can find out my decision? Is there a website, an email address, or something?
[/li]

[li] Who hasn't received his/her decision yet? Where do you live?[/li]i*

[li] What do the acceptance/waitlist/rejection letters look like? Envelope size, envelope contents?[/li][/ul]
congrats to all acceptees! if you've been waitlisted or deferred, post here and we'll do our best to make you feel better :D

I can't answer all of them but:

*1. Pomona has sent RD decisions, and it isn't close to April 10, so yes.

*2. Not sure. Maybe if you email or call them and explain your situation (numbers are on their website) they would email you a decision. I haven't heard of any school giving a verbal admission. Can you have someone check your mail while you are on vacation?

*3. N/A decision received here

*4. Acceptances for domestic/US come in an large 8x10 ish white envelope with priority mail postage.

Pomona usually sends them out around this time.
Most places specify april 15th as the latest time when decisions will come out
Thats in case something goes wrong and they need the extra time

I've gotten my acceptance already, It came in a big white envelope with a drawing/image saying Class of 2009 in the upper-left corner.

Hi guys!

Thanks so much for your replies. I'll have someone look out for the mail you described, and I've written the admissions office asking if they can release decisions over email. Thanks again!
