"We have received the materials necessary to review your application for Case Western Reserve University, and your application is under review by one of Case's admission counselors. We will contact you if we determine that any additional information is necessary."

I got that today, should I be worried about not getting admitted if I havnt got any replies yet?

I just checked online, and you can add me to the acceptance pile! general stats:
white female, from northeastern OH
SAT: 800w, 800r, 680m
GPA: 4.0 uw
Rank: 5/822
ACT: 34

I used the link rjain posted, signed in, and at the top of the table listing the application checklist, it said "Congratulations! You have been admitted to Case Western Reserve University. Please look for your official letter of admission in the mail." i didn't apply for any extra scholarships, but I haven't received my financial aid information or my official letter of admission yet, so we'll see. To be honest, Case is at the bottom of my list. It's a great school, it's just too close to home, and I spend too much time there already with music ensembles. If I hadn't practically lived on campus every saturday since 8th grade, i might feel differently about it.

My application is under review. The nine-digit number happened to be the same as my social security number. Hurray! Back in January the admissions office told me it was under review too. ???

update: just received my official letter in today's mail, they're offering a presidential scholarship of 20,800. Yeah, s'vrone, that'd probably explain why you haven't heard yet.

I just check up on my status...and I got in!
ACT: 29 (highest section scores E33, M29, R34, S26)
SATIIs: US 720, World 790, Spanish 570
GPA: 3.7 UW, 4.3 W
Residency: Kentucky

Accepted:
SAT: 1450/2110
GPA: 3.6 - probably top quarter

...with a $20,800 president's scholarship! I didn't expect to get any scholarships from anywhere. I don't think I've ever been so flattered in my life!

s'vrone, to be honest, case isn't particularly high on my list, but that's mainly because I live so close by and I've spent way too much time there in the past. I can't remember if I had to list the other schools that I applied to on case's application, but if I did, they probably figured out that they didn't rank very high. My first choice is Yale, and I also applied to Williams, Dartmouth, University of Chicago, Swarthmore, Oberlin, and Wooster. We'll see where I get in and what happens in terms of financial aid from other schools. I still may end up at case, who knows?
