RD decision

Accepted! This was he*%, this season was just awful. Waitlisted at five schools, five, Trinity was the last school to be heard from. Thank goodness that’s over.

I think personalities and talents are also tremendously important at Trincoll, not just academic abilities. Trinity accepts either SAT or SATII so their average scores seem to be low, but it doesn’t guarantee you a spot if your scores are greater than the 50%.
Want a sure bet? Apply ED!!! Trinity accepted almost 70% of its ED applicants last year!!!

Is trinity’s waitlist ranked?

No, it is not.

Honestly, I didn’t think I would get in after being wait-listed to Lafayette, Conn, Skidmore (-_-), and the list goes on. Seems as if this year was the year of the Waiting List. My letter too, was personalized. I’m just happy that I got in. This was my first choice, and contrary to popular belief you do not need amazing scores to get into a good school. My SAT scores are atrocious.

@liivininbliss - You also stated that you are hispanic, an under represented minority on the sea of hotchkissers that is TrinTrin, a first generation college student, and an athlete. These are four hooks that will get you into most colleges, and you had them all going for you. That is why you were in luck with your poor marks

what are the stats for waitlist at Trinity? my son has high SAT’s - recommendation to do anything?

Not sure if info regarding WL admittance is here… but check out the “Common Data Set” reports:

I’m an international but I haven’t heard anything from Trin. No emails. I don’t know what the heck was going on with the admission and recruitment or whatever that is. Does anyone else in a same situation as I do?
