RD Decision

Yeah I think it is safe to say that almost everyone else will get accepted/rejected monday. If not, I will be having a word with my post office...

PS- Congrats to all of the accepted internationals. To those who haven't heard anything, I wish you the best of luck and I know you'll end up in great places even if you don't go to Vassar.

I'm just worried I'll end up like the guy in last year's thread--one thing missing and he didn't know but thought it was ok until the letter came.....

whaaaat?? that actually happens to people? now i'm more terrified than ever.

what really sucks is that i won't hear for days.
[yes, i live in california]

good luck everyone...

Yeah I know emily, I was sort of having doubts about that but then the guy in last year's thread really made me nervous...look through it, the link's above.

Sorry stuck...if it takes too long you can always call I guess.

Good luck everyone!

people that got in, feel like posting your stats?

A boy from my school just got waitlisted.

THAT MEANS HE GOT HIS LETTER.

: panics: Did my mom get the letter? Is she just holding onto it until tomorrow because it's a rejection? Did she not say anything because I went away for a night? AHH!

Oh dear GOD..I'm DYING to know.

Why is there no mail on Sundays? Why?! ;) Haha.

I live in NYC so chances are..I'm hearing tomorrow.

Do you think that they won't reach California tomorrow? Damn! I'm really freaking out.

i live in arizona, i doubt the letters will get to the west coast by tomorrow. i want to know, but i don't at the same time... i'm really freaked out that something might be missing from my file now! i wish i remembered getting something from vassar saying that it was all there...did you guys?

well seeing as i live in sacramento, and it took 2 days for me to get my CMC letter....[cmc being in the outskirts of LA]...think about how much longer it will take to get a letter from upstate new york. =</p>

stuckinthemist, did you get into cmc? i was rejected... i didn't really want to go there anyhow but i hope that doesn't bode ill for my more competetive schools like vassar

lucy, no i got waitlisted, but CMC was near the bottom of my list anyway. vassar, on the other hand, is QUITE a different story.

and you got something form them? all i got was an email in late december saying i would be notified in february if anything was missing. i never got any such notification...i hope that means i'm okay? oy vey...

also, i sent all my materials in with a certificate of mailing...that means they can't claim i didn't send it right?

i wonder how long it will take the mail to reach texas

I was afraid they had lost the paper part of my application (they ran a big interview day near me in January and never called me), but they (obviously) eventually found it. (I ended up getting an interview that lasted two hours, so not doing a mass interviewing probably helped!) It was sent regular mail, as far as I can tell, so I don't know how quickly it'll reach everyone else...but good luck!

stuck, i got the same email from vassar saying that they'd received my application and would email me if anything was missing, but i never got anything else. i guess we can assume nothing was missing?

i certainly hope so!

hah-- i'm such a nerd.
i definitely have a firefox window open with tabs of all the sites where decisions are posted online...even though they're not gonna be up for days, in most cases

WAITLISTED.

...I don't know what to say or do. I'm so glad it wasn't a rejection.

Does anyone know how many kids go onto the waitlist?

i'm sorry seole :-(

and i don't think there have been enough decisions to figure out the waitlist numbers yet.

speaking of which, how did you get your mail on a sunday?
