She looks a little older. Maybe she's talking about Graduate programs. Actually if you look at her other tweets (?), you can tell she's not in high school or just starting undergrad.

Clue is saying she was rejected by Chicago and Stanford. Stanford is not releasing until next week at the earliest, so this is not for undergrads

ratz

regardless, it'll be tonight at about 5. mark my words.

why so sure?

In case anyone's got a pool going...

J'adoube -- excellent point. My prediction: Online Thursday, 4 pm. Letters arrive over the weekend. Admissions folks flee for warm beaches on Friday.

Hang in there, everyone. It is what it is.

im scareddddddd

When I called the admissions office they said it is not going out today. They said to expect it within a week.

there we go.
good night everybody.

coloDad,

Great job, thanks

see you all next week.

Admission decisions will not be out today. They will be out within a week or so. I just called and asked the same question. LOL

I BET they're annoyed.

Woooo. I can continue dreaming of going to Chicago for a few more days.

Let's see. (1) They're overworked and tired; (2) They've been doing the same stuff for the last 10 weeks; (3) now they're being nagged by nervous high school seniors about when they'll be done with their work.

I'm sure they're very thrilled to have something new to do while they wrap up with reading about 40,000 essays and debating about 12,500 files.

By something new to do... you mean read transfer applications, right? :) :D

imagine if they postponed the decisions BECAUSE of all the nagging high school students, and all the decisions are laying around waiting to be uploaded...:P

They may just be saying that so all of the anxious applicants are actually excited and surprised when the decisions are released :) Still very well might be today...

imagine if they postponed the decisions , they postponed their vacation !

Not quite ... I was thinking that they would be overjoyed to spend more time answering phone calls and saying the same thing over and over again.

You know, people, maybe we should stop calling them so that they can have more time reading. If we keep calling them, they'll be more distracted and that'll delay our decisions even more.

I think even if the decisions are ready, they will still tell anxious seniors that decisions will not be available today. It may well be today.

ab2013: I think everyone on this thread should at least call the office once to see the reactions. LOL

Ha FB lalaland and I had the exact same idea...

I'm suprised they're even answering the phone at this point. If somebody's calling about something important, they'd leave a message, right? Although if they didn't want people calling, why not just give us a date? Oy. :/
