RD Decisions Class of 2013!

I got into Harpur today. :)
My letter was dated 3/20/09. It seems they have a random schedule, because some kids in my school got it weeks ago.
Good luck to everyone else!

I got in today as well. The schedule really does seem random; I know people who applied way after me who got their acceptances before me. So don't give up!

Log on with BU ID and Password and go from there.

I got into Harpur!
YAYYY!
i'm definitely going to Binghamton!
Congrat to those who got accepted and good luck to those who are still waiting!

do they have it online?

here is a little tip for those who haven't received their letters.
You can check your acceptance status online
try this:
binghamton.edu → Admissions → Undergraduate → Admitted Student info (it's on the bottom right of that page) → Enroll Today → click "Pay your deposit online today" (the sentence is written in blue) → put your BUID and PIN → if you are accepted, the website will say "You are currently eligible to pay a tuition deposit towards the following program(s)"
then the website will show your name, school, and program(s).
that's how i found out mine today=]

Congratulations to those you got accepted and good luck to those who are still waiting for their letters!

did this only work for Harpur applicants so far because I applied to the Engineering school and it didn't work for me and I've noticed that everyone that has received their letter in the mail got accepted into Harpur.

Accepted today to Harpur. :)

I konw i won't be attending, but it was still a very nice feeling.

Do you guys know anything about the Honors college and when they let you know if you got in?

ok the bill paying didnt work for me, basically i got rejected. am i right ?

also emails were sent today to those accepted

if thats really the end of me in bing. then screw bing :) i dont need em

An email?
I didn't get anything. I guess I am rejected.. ?
So, basically, it seems like pretty much everything is done in Harpur since I notice so many people getting accepted. (Congratulations for them again) I cannot give up my hopes because I am a transfer student... and the admis office said yesterday that my application is ready for the review.

I wish I could get the letter... :(

I'm a transfer student who also got no email. I'm keeping my head up though because it says I'm eligible to submit a tuition deposit.

Are you going to be at the Transfer Student Day on Monday?

Harpur acceptance received yesterday.

Economy driving record number of applicants to SUNY schools : Home: The Buffalo News

And since many of those students newly attracted to SUNY have high-flying academic credentials, state schools have been prompted to raise their admission standards.

SUNY received nearly 300,000 applications to its 64 state campuses this year, its largest number ever.

Applications are up nearly 12 percent at Alfred State College, 11 percent at Binghamton University (27000 for 2000 openings) , more than 8 percent at Buffalo State College, 7 percent at the University at Buffalo and as much as 5 percent at Geneseo and Fredonia state colleges.

Gyrhead,

Keep repeating that, the important number is also how many students applied, not number of applications. And to Alfred State ? give me abreak

The entire situation at SUNY is turning into a disaster. They dont have a clue. All they are focusing is wow, more applications. And we can get more out of states.

i went in knowing there would be only a minute chance of me as a transfer getting accepted to SOM at Binghamton with a 3.5-3.6 gpa. but im upset still because i wanted to go there and b with my friends, plus its a damn excellent school

Transfer2010, so the online thing worked for you (tuition). I think that could be a clue for you? :) It didn't work for me. I was wondering though, if that is because my application is not reviewed yet (according to admis office)? I have no idea about this. I am not sure if I am going to participate that transfer day meeting yet. Good luck to you! :)

the email says congratulations youre the one we want. and then there is a link that plays a video.
my girlfriend is so bummed. she didnt get any email

btw were freshman applicants. things could be totally different for transfers.
