for those of you that posted you go in today, did you get something via snail mail? or email.
thanks!

I got in! It was a big envelope in the mail and it said congratulations on the envelope.

It said “Congratulations” according to my dad. I wouldn’t know because I’m not home right now… I’m actually at an admitted students thing for another college.

Does anyone know about this Lerman-Neubauer thing? It seems extremely selective, yet it doesn’t seem like the things that it offers are particularly exceptional. They’re things that I could get as a regular student at most schools.

congrats larrabin & rainbowrose! where are you located? I am in Texas and the anticipation is killing me!

waitlisted today in southern california :/

My daughter just got her Brandeis acceptance today. We live in Georgia. She was awarded a $25K Alumni and Friends Scholarship. She is beyond thrilled.

CAorBust, the mid-year program to my understanding is by no means a second class opportunity You may want to ask Admissions the reasons that certain kids are selected for it. However, with around 9000 applicants this year for a class of approximately 800, your daughter is fortunate to be admitted to Brandeis and should be congratulated. As an alum, I can tell you that Brandeis is an amazing and special school. As for the mid-year opportunity, here’s a recent essay from one of the student newspapers that suggests it’s a great experience:

Good luck!

Congrats to all!

I big mail yesterday that read “Congratulations!!”

But I might not go to Brandeis because my pops says its too expensive :(

I got in! Huge envelope!! SOOOO HAPPY! First acceptance!

First out of state acceptance :D

How did you guys find out about scholarships/fellowships? Was it in your acceptance packages, or did it come separately?

My son got the acceptance package on Monday…it included financial aid information (if getting one loan is considered aid ).

@avery148 it was in the acceptance package

@hammer1234, yea that’s all i got too. i didn’t get ANY scholarships except these weird stipends and grants for books and research which totaled $7700 over 4 years. how do they expect that to compete with schools on about the same level who are giving me $10,000+/year?

I got mine too, on the 21st. They mentioned they weren’t sending them out till very late March… I suppose they got an early start?

Accepted! :)

Accepted~! but no fin aid info in my package. Should fin aid info arrive with the package or later? Or am I disqualified for fin aid , that is why they didn’t send anything about it with package?

I applied a week before the RD deadline and was accepted… good luck everyone

accepted!!!
with great financial aid.
Soooooooooooooooooooooooooooo excited :D

I was accepted to Brandeis a few weeks ago and now that the deadline is approaching, I need to make a deicison as to where I want to go to college. I was hoping that some of you could give me some feedback as to why you personally applied to Brandeis. What do you find are Barndeis’ weknesses? What are its strengths? And anything else you might like to add… Thanks a mil for your input! :)
