Anyone knows when are they going to release the decision?
I e-mailed them , but there’s no response( and it’s been 4 days already!)

As I checked the previous threads, last year it was released on 23rd…
Is it gonna be the same this year, too?
anybody knows anything?

I received the Marquis Scholarship

I am an international student from Morocco.

SAT SCORES: 600CR/640MATH/650 Writing
APs (self study): 4 USHistory 5 French Language 3 English Language
Unweighted GPA: 3.8
ECs: Debate (debated at the UN), Drama (Part of of 3 major school productions), Soccer and Volleyball Varsity
Volunteer: Tutoring and others…

So do decisions come online for international students? Just sent them an email to tell them that I have never received the acknowledgment email that should’ve contained my ID and password for the portal.
Congrats to all those who got in, and good luck to those that don’t know their decision yet!

Seems like a wide range for mailing dates. Does it depend on Scholarship offers?

@cia3194: sorry to hear that… but don’t worry, if you have applied, you will most probably get the decisions… All the best…

Disneydad: apparently it seems that they release the decisions to marquis scholars earlier.

And does anybody know when are they releasing the regular decision?

This thread is so dead-ish!!
and the worst thing is, the adcoms rarely reply to e-mails :/

Will be disappointed if it is true that all Marquis Scholars have been advised. Daughter is 9th out of 200 in her class; 1500 SAT (2290/2400); 32 ACT (perfect scores on CR on both SAT and ACT); interviewed with an alum; visited and toured; certainly good letters of recommendation; sufficient ECs. The school had a problem finding the alumni interview, but ultimately did find it. Still hoping, but will not be able to understand a decision not to offer her the scholarship, if that is what happens. Nevertheless, congratulations and good luck to all!

I still didn’t get it: do international students get their decisions online? Thanks!

RobinAOK: Based on my research, your daughter should easily get the Marquis Scholarship. If she does not get it, then who does… Unfortunately, the website suggests that all Marquis Scholars already received acceptance packets:

MARQUIS SCHOLAR DAYS (BY INVITATION ONLY)
You and your parents/guardians are invited to celebrate your Marquis Scholarship selection with us. We have events planned exclusively for you Monday, April 8, and Thursday, April 11. The detailed schedule was included in your acceptance packet.

RobinAOK - I have definitely been under the impression that not all of the Marquis Scholars have gone out (or at least have not been received) for two reasons: 1) the only posts from recipients have been from those geographically close to Lafayette or I think a couple international students, and 2) there have only been a few posts of students receiving them - if it is really 20% recipients would have expected a lot more posts and some outside of PA/NJ/ etc.

Will be in the same state of mind as you if DS doesn’t receive the Marquis Scholar. 33 ACT, very good ECs, visited, interviews, etc.

Anyone outside of PA/NJ receive one?

Also, the fact that it is on the web site wouldn’t concern me too much. I think it has been out there for awhile. DS just received admission and invitation to Lehigh’s Diversity Life Weekend on Saturday, and they have had info on that on their web site for awhile in advance.

I was also hoping for a Marquis offer for my daughter. She has similar stats, interview (the interviewer (unsolicited) told her she was a strong candidate for the scholarship which I thought was a little strange), three visits, etc… We are in NY about 3 hours from LaFayette.

Oh well! I’ve moved on. : )

Yes. Same here. Very high stats, interview, several visits. Very interested in school but need to make a decision soon. This process is dragging on! We’re in NY as well. Good luck to all.

D in TN received her acceptance with Marquis Scholarship notification last Monday 3/11.

@cia3194 : Yes, internationals receive their decisions online…

Thanks RobD and congrats to your daughter. Maybe they have all been sent out - a little hard to tell. That would be disappointing for several of us posting.

The scholarship is probably based on other criteria besides stats, such as diversity. They don’t make that clear, but that seems to be the trend in many of these schools with substantial scholarships. If it was purely based on stats, I’m sure several of these posters would have received it.

Hi everybody,

Has any of you heard about the admission notification date?
