CTcountess - you read me completely wrong. It’s just frustrating waiting while others have heard.

garfield-I didn’t know the Admissions office said that! I had it in my head that RD decisions were going to be completed by March 15th.

Oh, ok. I thought you were saying none of us had a chance. I apologize

Nope - I’d never say that. I know the waiting is frustrating, particularly when others have been accepted.

Hang it there everyone…this to shall pass. We are waiting also. It is frustrating. We had considered UMass somewhat of a borderline safety school and definitely a match school but now I am not so sure.

No envelope today so to shore up my waning confidence, I recalculated my son’s GPA using the Admissions Standards for the Massachussetts State University System. My son’s high school does not report a weighted grading scale which I think is somewhat of a disservice considering that he completed 13 AP and Honors courses.

High School is reporting a 87.3580

Massachusetts Grading Scale - 3.40 Unweighted and 4.16 Weighted

ConfusedMominMA… I emailed the Admission Office, that’s how they replied.

Thanks Garfield. Wish it didn’t go so long. DS has been accepted to his top choice (UConn) and has gotten FA info from UConn. Just need the UMass decision and then we can make our reckon and then we can move this process along to the next step.

am I to understand that students who applied for Early Action deffered =By End of April and RD by March 15 Is that right or is it both Regular Decisions and Early Action Deffered by begining of April …a little confused by the posts…

I called UMass because I have a school that requires I reply by April 1st. They said I should have my decision by then. I applied rd. I don’t know about those who were deferred

@ctcountess thanx Good Luck ,I’m in the same boat

Thanks! Hopefully the second wave will go out soon.

We are so ready for the next step also…Amen and Hallelujah!

Hoping also…no mail yesterday…fingers crossed…
