I'm 99.99% going to be posting a rejection.:( It feels so surreal, after watching people post their decisions since the past 2 years, it's finally my turn.

I just want it to end so I can get on with life.

damn another small envelope

StuckatUofT, you already got it? Sorry about your waitlist/rejection. Where do you live?

good luck you guys. i still have not decided if i will attend caltech (admitted ea), but if i do, i look forward to meeting some of you!

How long does it generally take for mail to go from CalTech to NorCal?

Last year, domestic applicants received their letters in First Class, not Priority. If it is that way this yea too, CA to NC would take 3 long days..

You mean 4, since mail doesn't get delivered Sunday..... sigh

omg yeah.. i didnt consider that.

Anyone on the East Coast remember how long it took for EA letters? I can't recall whether it took 2 or 3 days. I really don't want to wait till Monday...

I just calculated stuff, and I figured that something FedExed on the 15th would arrive in India by around the 19th or 20th. Which is a state holiday, curse my luck. sigh I guess I might end up waiting for the email that they send to internationals on the 23rd.

why is 19 or 20 a state holiday noldo?

It's Ugadi -- I live in Karnataka, so it's rather a big deal around here. Not sure if it'll affect FedEx, but I'm guessing it probably will.

ugadi, i guess, will be on the 20th so we must receive our packages by 19 (if we are accepted that is,lol)

Yeah, and I've heard they only FedEx if you're in. It's Airmail otherwise.

of course.. hasn't anybody in the world got their mail yet?

Good luck guys!! I'm excited for those of you that get in.

Them guys in Cali who should be getting letters today should wake up and tell us cool East Coasters about all the news.

And us...equally cool people on the other side of the Atlantic and then some? :D
