I'm from Vietnam and haven't heard anything yet.
But I just keep hoping that DHL sucks for a while, I know 2 Wesleyan Freeman scholars in the same city but one got her parcel while the other checked out after 1 week :)
MHC is my hope for now :D

Hi
what scores do u have on sat 1, 2?
i have been rejected by reed, grinnell, macalester
do u think i have any chance on mhc?
i'm very disappointed
i think i will be rejected by mhc,too
on verbal i have very low score, but in math, frenc, math2c very good
i had honourable mentions in county olympiads -math & physics, participated in center of excellence in physics, and so on

still havent got my decision. why couldnt they just tell internationals online or post before like everybody else

yeah...GAWD! why don't they just post it online!
i've heard from everywhere else except HERE!

yay! i got in! as well as to wellesley! : ) what a surprise!!!!!!!!

did anyone else get the $10,000 per/year Leadership Award? It's awesome ...I didn't even apply for it : )

yeah I got one of those too...:)

YAYYYY! My beautiful FAT DHL just arrived. I'm feeling happy :)
MAN DHL REALLY SUCKS! MY LETTER AS POSTMARKED 3/25!!

sucharita: wow, FINALLY!!! im so happy for you. i hope ill get mine soon :(

yeah PierreMarie, there is hope yet! Don't give up!

This package has made me feel really happy again after the string of rejections yesterday...its nice to feel wanted :)

i received 3 rejections yesterday and another today. :(
hope mt holyoke wont be the next rejection :(

btw, how's ur financial aid package? :)

it is nice- pretty much the same as smith's except that the loan part of it is a lot smaller...basically I have to pay about 4k a year which isn't cheap for me but it is definitely manageable :)

Yeah, I got my letter today. :) It was actually quite a nice change, since I was really bummed about being rejected from Dartmouth. Really, really bummed. And waitlisted at Pomona. Bummed about that, too. Bummed because I dunno, I guess it's tough to be basically told you're not good enough. :) But enough of that! I was very happy with my acceptance because I also got one of those Leadership Scholarships, which made my parents very, very happy. ^^ I think MH would be my best bet because my parents would have to pay less than half my tuition, so they would be able to settle in the states with a nice house and stuff and not have to eat ramyun for four years. Anyway, congratulations to you all. :)

I would really like to go to that April orientation thing, but I don't think I can. :( Too much school stuff to do. But who knows?

Take care, everyone! :D

congratulations to all my fellow acceptees!

those who got rejected- I know EXACTLY how you feel. TRUST ME.

I am still waiting for my top choice's decision to come and if I don't get in there I'll prolly see some of you in MHC in September! Two of my mom's friends teach there too :)

do u know if dhl works in weekend?
i'm still waiting my decision from mhc
it's my last chance.. not really i'm waiting my decision from lsu
i was accepted just to erau till now
i received many rejections, just because i didn't have the money to pay for school
i'm praying to god to help me
congrats sucharita and u all

DHL works on Saturdays but not on Sundays

sophia trust me I know exactly how you feel (I was in the sameposition till yesterday) but there's hope yet so DON'T GIVE UP! :D

thank you
i'm very disappointed by everything
if i can't do my undergraduate studies maybe i'll do the graduate ones
i can go to computer science or to economics: maybe accounting, management, or bussiness
i realy don't what to do in my next 4 years
in 9th grade i went to one of the best schools in my town, but after a semester i had a depression: i had really serious problems with my informatics teacher, i had chosen to transfer to other school, not so good like the 1st one
it proved to be not a good choice
now i'm praying to god to help me to go to a college in states or in my country, one that will fit me the best
i think i was rejected because the girl from bulgaria received her letter and my country romania is in north of bulgaria
i wish u all success and want you know that what is to be yours it will be
thanks again for message and congrats

"i received many rejections, just because i didn't have the money to pay for school"

hey sophia2u! i know exactly how you feel. it is sad, isn't it? and on top of that when i do get in somewhere, they don't give me enough fin aid, so it's basically another rejection. i got in both mt holyoke and grinnell, but i most probably won't be able to attend, because i cannot pay:(

good luck and don't give up hope! like a lot of people here say: "There is always grad school":)

take some of these to brighten your day::):):):):):):):):):):):):):)

I'm sorry that you haven't heard from Mount Holyoke... YET. Don't give up hope. Sometimes schools mail acceptance letters in different batches/waves. So you may have had your acceptance letter sent out last... just because you haven't heard from Mount Holyoke YET doesn't mean that you have not been accepted. Obviously, you haven't gotten a rejection letter, right? So you simply cannot be sure that you have NOT been accepted.

Best wishes. :)

sophia, dont worry, i still havent received my decision from mt holyoke, princeton and bates.. im an international here as well. im really praying that DHL just really sucks and that our fat packages will come soon :) :) :) :) :) :)
money is an important factor for me, too. i got rejected from colby, u of notre dame and bard because i didnt have enough money.
and, as dacutewabbit has stated, although i was accepted to IUB, grinnell and NYU, i wasnt given enough financial aid -- so my parents will, most probably, let me study at the local state university where the tuition is approximately equal to $100/year.
so im just really, really, really hoping that bates and mount holyoke do give me a hefty financial aid package if they did decide to admit me. (im not hoping for princeton anymore.. considering my rejections from harvard and yale)

so im just really praying to God that He give us the best...
