you too, clichedanomaly, best luck all of us !

Ahh! I’m domestic and honestly I’m getting more and more nervous every day. :(

Don’t be too disappointed. I got rejected from all the schools that I wanted to go in the EA round. On top of that another rejection on the Mar 14 from MIT. I still kept my hopes up and two days ago I received early writes from Bowdoin and Wesleyan. Wesleyan’s even offering me a full-ride. I know it will be hard, but just relax and keep your fingers crossed. Good luck :)

Wow… that really keeps me optimistic! Congratulations laceyk :)

Thank you WindsongLibra. Have you applied to anywhere other than Oberlin?

Yes, I have. To a couple of other liberal arts colleges like Bryn Mawr, Smith, Mount Holyoke and Colby. I’m dying to hear from them, but the college I’m really, really anxious about hearing from is Barnard Fingers crossed! Still a little disappointed about Oberlin, though. I was really intrigued by its diversity and arts culture. Oh well!

Yeah, I still have like 10+ colleges to hear from. But I’ll probably attend the one that gives me the most aid.

Laceyk, I got accepted to Wesleyan too! I didn’t get my financial aid decison yet because I still need to send a couple of things in. If you don’t mind me asking, I was just wondering if you have a full ride to Wes because of a scholarhsip, or if it is just financial aid, or both.

A little birdie told me letters are going out today, March 20th, into early next week so students have their letters in hand by April 1.

Does oberlin also send decision emails? Did the little birdie tell you anything else like when applicants to the conservatory will know? like also maybe march 20th, TODAY?!

pliverpool: Both scholarship and aid. If they considered just the financial need, I would’ve gotten only about half of the tuition fee covered.

I hope you’re right, radannie…I’m getting pretty nervous here.

a little birdie said the 20th?
i love little birdies.
i love it even more when they are reliable sources.
where did you hear the 20th?

From someone at the school who has an interest in my daugther attending. just said expect something soon

awesome, thanks!

Did anyone get their letter yesterday? If no one in OH/surrounding areas got anything, I’m thinking the little birdie was wrong or the mailing date was delayed for some reason.

aww. poor little birdie.

I live ~20 minutes away from Oberlin and have already been accepted by Minority Visit Program invitation. No letter for me yet. Poor birdie.

i dont think most people get the mail on sunday…

No letter yet. :(
