does anyone know when ConnColl sends out their RD decisions?

We're supposed to find out ON April 1. Last year and the year before it was the day after the Ivies send decisions.

... and the ivies do it on 31st March. Would they mail the decisions or email us?

D received her letter last year around the 28th or 29th. They sent likely letters to some top prospects about a week earlier.

My DS applied and we have received 3 snail-mail letters from financial aid - each asking for information - and each which referred to him by a student ID number. Is this a good sign? In addition, he's received e-mails from admissions (urging generally him to call them if he has any questions) and an e-mail from residence life. Connecticut seems heavy on student contact during this period, certainly compared to other schools from which he's received no final notice.

I also have been receiving stuff from finaid with ID numbers... I'm PRAYING this is a good sign. I haven't gotten any contact from reslife., though :/

hey where are you from? i'm international
i received the similar email asking for tax returns on Feb.17. a student ID was also included. but after that nothing at all in the next month - no email or mail.
if the FA email is a good sign, the rough selection of international students should had been finished by Feb.17. does this sound possible?

anyway, i hope it does

I just got an email...

It is anticipated that all decision letters will be mailed on the 27th of March.
International students will receive an email shortly after that date.

I think the email asking for financial aid forms and giving applicant ID is a generic email.

Anyway, less than one week to go... Best of luck everyone

I don't know about you all, but this weekend will surely be a crucial weekend for me. All my LACs will email out the decisions. I am so tense! :(

Best of luck guys!

Our D got her email today, with letter to follow. So it looks like the notifications have begun...

hmm.. no email here..?

CB parent are you international or from the US?

We're located in the U.S.

Most people from my school are still waiting, don't worry!

Does anyone know how heavily conn college weights grades? I only have a 3.3 but I'm hoping all my extracurriculars, community service, test scores and interview will counteract that...

CBParent--when you say she got her email, you mean she got The Word on acceptance? Would you mind sharing whether she's in or not? (I'm another parent--the anxiety gets pretty powerful, doesn't it?) And does anyone else know if this is how they do it at Conn--send an email and then follow-up with a letter?

i'm international
as far as i know, no one in my country has received his or her offer for RD

i think they send you an email if your one of the students that is invited to their diversity campus session so you can plan ahead of time. otherwise, im sure they send you their decision via mail.

i got waitlisted (international)

red_mercury were you also put on the scholarship waitlist?
