RD Decisions?

i got email saying that i’m admitted(international)

Received my acceptance today! Conn was a little bit of a reach for me, but I have a brother who attends, which was likely helpful.

:( waitlisted with a 3.6ish GPA and 2200 SAT

D accepted – no other details because the envelope is here for her to open, but I was glad that the package says, “the fat envelope”!

For any that have gotten the envelope – does it include a financial aid award?

Cute it does say “The Fat Envelope” but D is not here to open it so I do not know about FA.

D got her “Fat envelope” today.
Accepted! No financial aid.

Accepted! Great financial aid and handwritten note from dean about my essay.

Accepted with a 2.8 GPA after being deferred ED2; this is unexpected but such a relief.

Catra, if you truly want to attend Conn, call or e-mail the admissions office as quickly as possible. With your excellent grades/SATs, and especially if you went to a respected high school, the admissions office may be wait listing you under the assumption that you are using Conn as a safety school. If Conn is actually your first choice I am sure the admissions office would love to accept you barring no glaring faults in other parts of your admissions portfolio.

-A Conn student

There’s a pretty big facebook group for accepted students at CT College

Accepted! With -24,000$ financial aid. They were kind enough to round to 0. I’m not going

catra, similar situation here, although I think they got it right that I viewed Connecticut as somewhat of a safety. Probably just as well as I would not be attending at this point, but it seems to me like it has a beautiful campus with a lot to like. For all of you that were accepted, congratulations and best wishes!

Rejected- Most likely for not showing a lot of interest. I decided a while back that the north east was not for me.

accepted! I loved conn. Congrats everyone  New London is so cute, too

for those who are waitlisted, send letters and call the office! (without annoying them)
showing interest really helps!
I’ve heard of someone being waitlisted with 2350+ and pretty good gpa-so don’t despair.
Good luck!

i got waitlisted and i wrote a letter to them, but what do you suppose to talk over the phone?

Ditto on contacting Conn if it is your first choice. My daughter attends as freshman. Conversation overheard between two coahes/faculty/ “It’s not worth accepting kids from …(fill in blank, local prep school/ they are using Conn as backup/ second coach/ I’ve got two runners from there now” so let the school know wew are very happy so far. Go Camels
