RD Decisions

i went to add content, applicant, and there is nothing that says decision…help :/

Thanks, but there is no option to add “decision.” All I see are “Coming Soon!” “Dean’s Message” “Financial Aid” and “Temp Applicant.”

Yeah those are exactly the same options that I have.

Then I’m sorry but I don’t know. My daughter’s also says “decision” when she clicks on applicant in addition to those others mentioned. Did you say that you just activated your portal today? Maybe that has something to do with it? Try calling tomorrow. Good luck.

I’m positive that it has something to do with our recent activations. But the lady that I was on the phone with said that I would be able to see my decision today. I guess it’s just a matter of waiting until it appears on my portal.

Thanks anyway, intouch.

I was waitlisted. It puzzles me, I definitely didn’t expect that.

The Committee on Admissions has completed a review of all applications of international students requesting financial aid. We were impressed with your academic credentials, however, we are unable to offer you admission due to the high demand for international financial aid. If your financial aid status has changed and you have sufficient funds to attend Lehigh without international student financial aid, you may request reconsideration of your application.
If you wish for us to reconsider your application, please notify Laura Severin by email (las204@lehigh.edu) by Friday, April 9, 2010, stating that you no longer require financial aid. Pending your request, applications will be reconsidered on a space available basis.
Your official decision letter was mailed on Friday, March 26."

I totally freaked out when I saw that !! cause I am wondering, if they had more funds, would they accept us? I mean I can’t pay for these 50 000 $ , my parents only earn around 40 000$ per year and we still have to cover for my sister’s expenses who studies in france. I guess there is no way to talk to them about it right ? When they say no financial aid it’s nooo financial aid? Or should I try to explain to them my very difficult situation. I mean Lehigh was my top choice since I want to study business !!! I am very disappointed :(:(:(:(. Can anyone give us (me and other intl students) their opinion ?

mine still says Decisions for Regular Decision will be posted here late in the afternoon on Thursday, March 25. Letters will be in the mail on Friday, March 26.

so when should i expect my decision to come?

I can’t even get on still. I called and they refuse to give me my user/pass. I guess I have to wait for the mail?

Aol must have sent the e-mail to spam.

so does anyone know if we will be able to get our decisions online tomorrow if we set up our account today? Or will we have to wait to get our response through the mail

Just checked my portal and was greeted by a wonderful congratulations video!!

GPA: 4.0
SAT: 2010
Classes: 5 AP and countless honors

=D

good luck to everyone

no decision, still says
“Decisions for Regular Decision will be posted here late in the afternoon on Thursday, March 25. Letters will be in the mail on Friday, March 26.”
what to do?

DD was waitlisted.

waitlisted… i was actually expecting to just get rejected

same problem as amraa kaze so will we get our decision today or should we wait for the decision to get to us through snail mail?

and did they send an email telling the applicants that the decisions were online?

Meh, just got waitlisted. 2150 SAT, 94.5/100 GPA, 6 AP

Accepted, IBE. :D

SATS: 2020 combined, 780 Math 2, 770 Physics, 700s for Chem and Bio.

ACT: 33

GPA: 3.87 UW, top 7% of class.

AP/Honors/Other: 2 APs under my belt so far (4 in APUSH and 5 in Physics B), taking 3 this year (Phys C, Calc AB, Macroeconomics), honors student since forever.

Extras: 3 year independent research course, 1 year independent engineering research and development course, varsity athlete for 2 years (golf, not recruited), extracurricular soccer and rugby, volunteering, NHS

Edge: Independent research experience, good essays, visited campus 3 times, have been in contact with admissions councilors for my district since last year - multiple face-to-face meets with them, build guitars.

Waitlisted, probably because of lack of ECs and my essays.

2310 SAT
Top 1% Class
7 AP Tests so far (2 4’s and 5 5’s), 4 more this year

For people who were waitlisted with really great stats, it’s probably because of a lack of interest. Lehigh is really anal about showing interest.
